At the Learning Center at the Euchee Butterfly Farm, your tax-deductible donation will never be used for administrative or fundraising expenses -- 100% of your contribution goes directly to support the program of your choice:

Natives Raising Natives

  • Your donation of just $57 will purchase the supplies and equipment for a beginning tribal butterfly farmer on the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Reservation to get started with the equipment and supplies that they need to get started raising butterflies as sustainable economic development for Native people.

  • For a $79 donation, you will purchase supplies for a beginning tribal butterfly farmer to graduate to the intermediate level of the program.  This will allow them raise butterflies indoors year-round, providing a larger and more stable income source.

Tribal Alliance for Pollinators

  • Your donation of $28 will pay for a color training guide and the needed supplies for a tribal member to get started with native plant seed collection.

  • Your donation of $77 will pay for the restoration of milkweed and native plants to one acre of tribal land, which will provide life-giving food to over 1000 monarchs during the next 12 years.

Food Initiative for Tribes

  • For a $53 donation, we can supply 14 planted containers of vegetables suitable for cultivation by those with physical limitations to tribal Elders.

Science Education for Native Youth

  • Your donation of just $47 will purchase caterpillar kits and bilingual educational materials to provide monarch conservation curriculum in Indigenous language to 8 Native youth.  These Native youth will learn about the miraculous monarch migration while also working to preserve the threatened languages of their ancestors.

  • For your $68 donation, 12 Native youth will be able to attend a half-day science workshop on native plant ecology.

SUPPORT US BY SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT OUR WORK

We are a small boots-on-the-ground nonprofit organization without a professional communication or fundraising team.  We need your help to get the word out about what the Natives Raising Natives, Tribal Alliance for Pollinators and Food Initiative for Tribes programs are doing and why they are so greatly needed.  Without the support of concerned individuals like yourself, our work will not be able to continue.

The challenged communities and degraded habitats on tribal lands in rural Oklahoma have too often been neglected by nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and sometimes even tribal governments.  We have been focused on these forgotten communities and habitats since 2013, with a demonstrated track record of improving the lives of Native people, plants and pollinators by harnessing the power of the monarch butterfly to inspire, uplift and educate.

Please help us to spread the word by sharing the link to our website with your friends, family, neighbors and employer.
